12 Hours of Mesa Verde

I had a fantastically fun weekend of racing at the 12 Hours of Mesa Verde. Craig Zediker and I raced as a two man single speed team. We ended up 4th on the day, missing 3rd by just 25 seconds, over a 12 hour period. Two things about this race:

1) I've never ridden a course so enjoyable in my life. By nature you do many laps in a 12 hour race, so to do it on a course that feels like one big BMC track is a real treat.
2) Although the mass start with hundred people was crowded like a NYC subway at 5pm, fellow racers have never been more kind to let you come around, except for the first lap.

To all the people that put this race on, you rocked. To all my folks I got to catch up with from Durango, that was equally as fun. After downloading my ride onto Strava, it says there was a small section of flat ground. I guess I'll have to go back next year to confirm.
